Excitement is building as our adult men's footballers gear up for a trip to Galicia in northeastern Spain on Saturday, March 8th, to compete in the prestigious Celtic Cup!

Following a fantastic experience last year, Syls are once again looking forward to locking horns with top teams while soaking up the warm hospitality of the wonderful hosts, Selección Galega de Fútbol Gaélico.

Last year’s tournament was a roaring success, with fierce competition on the pitch and lasting friendships forged off it. This weekend promises to be no different, as Syls proudly represent both our club and Irish Gaelic football on an international stage.

The Celtic Cup is a celebration of our shared Gaelic sporting heritage, bringing together teams who embody the passion, skill, and spirit of the game. It’s a fantastic opportunity for our players to test themselves against strong opposition while enjoying the unique culture and energy that Galicia brings to the sport.
