One year ago, St. Sylvester’s GAA Club launched our ambitious 2025–2030 Strategic Plan, setting out a clear vision for the future of our club and community.
Built around four key pillars; Finance & Governance, Games Development, Broomfield Development, Communications & Community/Culture, the plan outlined how we aim to strengthen every aspect of club life both on and off the field.
Twelve months later, we are delighted to report that significant progress has already been made across all four pillars.
From major facility developments and improvements in governance, to enhanced coaching structures, growing participation, stronger communications, and continued investment in our players and volunteers, Year 1 has delivered important momentum for the club.
The progress achieved reflects the incredible commitment of our volunteers, mentors, executive teams, members, players, sponsors, and wider community who continue to drive St. Sylvester’s forward together.
As part of our first annual review, the Executive Committee has also identified a number of new priorities and actions to strengthen and expand the plan further over the coming years. These additions ensure the strategy remains responsive to the evolving needs of the club while continuing to focus on sustainable long term growth.
This update includes detailed progress and new actions across all four pillars:
