If the answer is yes, then please don't miss the St. Sylvester's annual coaching conference THIS SATURDAY in the Grand Hotel in Malahide.
Coaching starts in the Academy, so it is particularly important that our Academy and Juvenile Coaches attend as the content is very relevant to these age groups as they build the coaching foundations for our players.
Top Line Up:
- Paul Kilgannon will help us with our Coaching Philosophy. Paul is currently Head of Team Performance for Limerick Hurling and is the leading thought leader on building a coaching environment.
- Des Ryan will advise on a practical approach to the athletic development of players. Des is the Director of Sport & Well-Being at UCG, he was Head of Athletic Development at Arsenal, and he is currently working with Brentford FC Academy.
- Sinéad Aherne & Niamh McEvoy - we will hear from our two most decorated players on the impact of coaching on the player.
- Derek McGrath will update us on our 5-Year Strategic Plan
Anyone that plans to coach a St. Sylvester’s team in 2025 or any club member who has an interest in coaching is encouraged to attend to foster a cohesive approach in leading our players and club forward.
Tickets for the event cost €25 which includes lunch & coffee, and it runs from 9:15am to 4pm.
