A great day of Feile action for our 2010 squads, with two big wins and plenty of learning moments along the way.
2010 T1 secured a strong victory over St Brigids, coming out on top with an impressive 5-11 to 5-6 win. A fantastic performance from the lads, showcasing their attacking firepower while holding firm to seal the victory. Points tally made the difference in high goal scoring match !
2010 T2 came through a tense battle away to Na Fianna in Feile Round 2, edging a tight contest 2-5 to 1-5. It was a scrappy affair, but the boys dug deep and ground out the win, showing resilience under intense pressure. With both sets of woodwork rattled late on, there was only inches in it, but the team held firm to see it out. Big credit to Dan and Cillian, who both stepped up in goals and did a great job for the team. Missing some of last week's bench strength due to absences and illness, the lads fought through despite picking up a few knocks. There's some work to do on composure, ball retention, and seeing out games, but it was a valuable lesson in handling pressure. Next up is a final qualifier away to St Mary’s—plenty to play for in the weeks ahead!
Unfortunately, 2010 T3 came up against a strong Round Towers side and fell short, but the effort and determination were clear.
Well done to all teams for their performances today—great progress being made, and plenty to build on for the next round. Enjoy the rest of the weekend!
