There’s a buzz in the air this week as Dublin’s U20 and Minor Footballers begin their journeys in the 2025 Leinster Championship. The first throw-ins of the season promise passion, pride, and plenty of drama as these young talents take the next step in their inter-county development.
First up, the Dublin U20 Footballers hit the road to face Meath this Wednesday, 26th March at Donaghmore Ashbourne GAA Club, with throw-in set for 7:30pm. A classic Dublin-Meath clash under the lights? Say no more.
Then on Saturday, 29th March, it’s the turn of the Dublin Minor Footballers as they travel to Glenisk O'Connor Park, Tullamore, to take on Offaly. Throw-in is at 12:30pm, and it promises to be a real test for this exciting new group.
We’re especially proud to see five Sylvester’s players named in the Dublin Minor squad and one in the U20s —a massive achievement for the lads, their families, and our club. Best of luck to them and all involved!
The U20 and Minor Hurling campaigns will follow in April, as will continued action from our Senior sides, so there’s no shortage of top-quality games coming up for the capital’s faithful.
