We’ve been asked to share details of a valuable support opportunity for parents and guardians.
A Six-Week Psychoeducational Programme is being run for parents of children or adolescents experiencing suicide ideation and/or self-harm. This programme aims to provide support, guidance and practical strategies to help families navigate what is undoubtedly a very difficult and distressing time.
Key Details:
Dates: Tuesdays from May 7th to June 11th
Time: 6:00pm to 8:00pm
Location: BMYI, Blakestown Road, Clonsilla
Open To: Parents/guardians across the Dublin region
Format: Face-to-face sessions, once per week for six weeks
Suitability: A short screening process will be in place to ensure the programme is appropriate for those attending
The sessions are designed to be informative, supportive and empowering for parents of children facing challenges with self-harm or suicidal thoughts.
