On Saturday June 21st Syls will host a celebration of 30 years of Ladies Gaelic Football within the club.
This will be a two part event with an afternoon of fun, games, competitions, and music up in Broomfield, where each age group will have the opportunity to manage a stall with all proceeds raised going to fund their costs on referees and equipment for the championship season ahead.
The evening will see a function in the clubhouse with live music, food and of course refreshments, where we will celebrate our inspirational achievements on and off the football field. Not only titles won, but more importantly the inspiring football community that has been built and its ever growing numbers that make Syls a driving force in Dublin LGFA.
We invite adult players, Mentors, Coaches, Administrators, volunteers and friends of Ladies Football, past and present, to come and celebrate this significant historic milestone with us.
A programme of events will be released in the coming week and we ask you to share the date now with your group so we can involve as many Syls people as possible in celebrating our football community.
